Lila is a small family business founded in 1997 by our mother Olga, who wanted to start travelling to India and Nepal for spiritual knowledge and experience. Her idea was to support herself and family while at same time living a life of spirituality, truthfulness and proper action.

Meaning of word Lila in Sanskrit is “Divine play” which perfectly describes our life philosophy.

Our goal is to maintain small business and support our long-term partners in Nepal and India, to continue to create good working environment and to meet interesting people through our shop.

We produce our items with partners from Nepal and India, that we met and developed together over the years. We always chose to work with similar souls as we are, and always insisted on fairness in our business so that we all can develop, learn and grow together.

We developed this shop through creativity and play, so the products you see are often unique, made with care, lots of attention to details and sometimes a one-off item that can’t be made the same again due to availability of material. The intention behind is to make special designs and items that make you feel special, unique and make you stand out in the crowd. We believe in being authentic, confident, bold with expression through one’s own personal style and colours. We work with different materials and trying to incorporate more natural fibbers like organic cotton, viscose, silk and wool where it is possible while keeping the prices affordable.
